Today was our first Rotaract meeting at 6:15 pm in Domenici Rm. 018! We were very excited to see all of the new members. The three gentlemen in the third picture are as follows: Clayton Albright, a member of the Mesilla Valley Club visiting to give us new ideas for a sponsorship outreach; Next is Greg Fant, Associate Vice President, Deputy Provost, and also our Club Adviser! We are so glad to have him here to help us out; he is from the Las Cruces Rotary Club; Last but not least, Scott Russel, a member of the Rio Grande Rotary Club who joined us to offer us opportunities to help the Community of Hope! Stayed tuned for volunteer opportunities and more updates on our new Treasurer and Secretary!

We had an ABC Winter Themed ice breaker today! Thank you Kim!
We decided not to have a speaker this meeting to regroup for the end of the semester, but we did have a visitor! Thank you Las Cruces Mesilla Valley Rotary Member Clayton Albright for joining us. Hello everyone!
We are having an easy yet mandatory fundraiser to help raise money for the club food and shirts. It is very simple and does not require much effort. There is more information in the meeting minutes, but the fundraiser consists of you taking 5 tickets (provided by the club) and attempting to sell them for a dollar each for a chance to win a $25 American Express Gift Card (meaning you can spend it almost anywhere). If you really would not like to sell them, then you can simply turn the tickets back in. Either way, you are responsible for the five tickets. They are due on our last meeting, December 4th. You must either turn in the money from your tickets or the tickets themselves. Make sure when you sell the tickets that you keep track of the person's name, contact information (to let them know if they won), and their ticket number. If you were unable to attend the November 6th General Meeting and did not get your tickets, you may contact us by responding to this email or text/call myself at 575-491-0113. (You may also contact if you would like additional tickets or would like to turn in your money/tickets before the December 4th meeting). If you have any questions, feel free to let us know. Arizona Furphy Vice President, NMSU Rotaract "Service Above Self" I know for sure that Autumn (Your President), myself (Zoey, your Vice President), and Symphony attended and aided with the renaissance faire, but I personally was only able to get pictures of myself and Autumn. We helped set up Friday with Symphony setting up booths and moving a bunch of haystacks! It was a bunch of fun and I hope everyone thanks the Arts Council and attends next year. We had a great meeting today learning about the STEM version of TRIO! See the meeting minutes for November 6th for more information on it.
Our International Project will hopefully be in collaboration with international centre for missing and exploited children to help children around the world. Keep updated with more information! Our ice breaker today was to paint pumpkins in the spirit of Halloween! Join us at the Mesilla Valley Corn Maze on Sunday at 3!
